We get a look at the new features, such as the new Terrastalization mechanic, and the adventures you and your Pokémon will go on in the Paldea region.
We’ve also been given some new information on The Scarlet Book and The Violet Book, both of which will make their appearance in this game.
These books are said to be expedition records of a mysterious figure who traversed the region long before the story, and who’s footsteps you’ll be following in as you explore.
It seems these books will also lead you to some elusive ancient Pokémon, and it’ll be up to you to find the truth behind what’s been written in the pages.
Elsewhere, Black Crystal Raid Battles are another new feature – they’ll let you take on Tera Raid Battles – featuring Pokémon much stronger and tougher than regular Raid Battles.
They’ll only be around to battle for a limited time though – so you’ll have to be on your toes. Defeat them, and you’ll be in line for some extra special rewards.
The first of these will be Charizard with the Mightiest Mark – and they’ll appear between December 2 and December 4 and then again on December 16-18.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18, and you can find out everything else we know so far here.
