Niantic Labs, responsible for mobile sensation Pokemon Go, is said to be working on a new AR title based around Britain’s favourite boy wizard named Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

According to TechCrunch who broke the story, details are scant at the moment, other than the game will aim to release sometime in 2018 and is a co-development project between the developer and Warner Bros. Interactive through their new Potter-centric sub brand Portkey Games.

Warner Bros. and Niantic themselves are yet to confirm the app, although a similar rumour did the rounds last year which was later debunked. Still, unless they come out and say otherwise it seems this one may indeed be the real deal.
