Pokémon Go developer Niantic is taking measures to hinder cheats that have been exploiting the mobile game, Pokémon Go Hub reports (via IGN).
Previously flagged accounts are now no longer be able to see rare Pokémon in an area after a server-side security measure taken at the weekend.
While this is definitely good news for the true Ash Ketchums out there, Pokémon Go Hub says that the third-party trackers that this is happening to are getting around it by simply creating new accounts. It’s not exactly foolproof.
While the buzz may have died down in recent months amongst the populous, there’s no denying that Pokémon Go’s audience is still strong and surely more action against cheats will be welcome in the future.
