Game Freak, the world-renowned developer behind Pokemon, and Rising Star Games are bringing Giga Wrecker Alt. to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch later this year. So, that's nice, isn't it?

This updated version of the 2D action game includes everything from the 2017 Steam release, as well as a new companion character, and 20 extra puzzle stages. There's also an Ironman mode that sees you take five times the damage you do in the regular mode, for those of you that enjoy that sort of thing.

The trailer below will give the uninitiated a decent idea of what you can expect from the Metroidvania-like. Basically, you destruct parts of the environment, and then rebuild it to fight the baddies and solve puzzles.

It's being released digitally, but those looking to get a physical copy will be able to grab one thanks to Limited Run Games for a bit, too.
