The new series of Pokémon RPGs have already stormed the Japanese video games charts and in April, 2007, North American gamers will get their chance to “catch ’em all”.
The games are set in the new land of Sinnoh and feature new monsters to tame, such as Munchlax and Weavile. Some of the classic Pokémon will once again make an appearance, and players will also be able to import Pokémon from GBA Pokémon games by plugging the cartridge into the GBA port found on the Nintendo DS.
North American gamers probably don’t need any incentive to buy the game, but Nintendo is still offering a pre-order bonus. It’s nothing all that spectacular mind, just a free stylus featuring a Pokémon from the new games.
Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl will be released for the Nintendo DS in North America on April 22, 2007. At this time there is no information on a European release date.
