Sony’s PlayStation branded 3D TV, announced back at E3 in June, has been delayed in Europe, reports Eurogamer.
The 24 inch TV was due for release this autumn to coincide with its launch in North America – the launch went ahead as planned priced $500.
In addition to providing 3D visuals via the two provided sets of 3D glasses, the TV uses Simul-view technology to show a unique image to the two viewers wearing the glasses – removing the need for local, split-screen multiplayer.
Sony hasn’t provided a new release date, though Amazon.co.uk lists a 2012 date. The online retailer is asking £410 for the TV.
