Ubisoft has announced what was already suspected by most of the gaming media: Far Cry Instincts is now an Xbox Exclusive title, making the PlayStation 2 version extinct. In Far Cry Instincts you play as Jack Carver, a man who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. You must use every weapon, vehicle and predator skill at your disposal in order to survive.

As well as a full single-player campaign, Instincts includes extensive Xbox Live options, including the ability to build and share custom-made levels. Far Cry Instincts is set for a September 2005 release and should face stiff competition this winter, with Valve’s Half-Life 2 also set to be a big release for Microsoft’s console.
