After obliterating the Steam charts in its Early Access release on PC earlier this year, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be getting a console exclusive release on the Xbox One family of consoles later this year.
For those of you not in the know, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a massively multiplayer online survival game in the vein of Battle Royale… or the last man standing. It has gained something of a cult following in recent months as streamers took to the game in droves.
Due to come to the Xbox One in late 2017, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will also feature improved visuals and performance taking advantage of the newly announced Xbox One X console.
