Last month we announced that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds had sailed past the 4 million mark, and it’s clear the digital juggernaut keeps on going, with no signs of slowing. Yesterday it passed the 5 million units sold mark. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was only released into early access in March, yet the sales keep on racking up for the hugely popular game.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds 5 million

PUBG is an MMO survival game where up to a hundred players are dropped onto a large area, and they must fight to be the last survivor, scavenging for weapons and supplies as they try to avoid being seen.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was recently delayed until the end of 2017, so far it’s been announced as a ‘console exclusive’ for Xbox, and is currently in early access on the PC.
