GAME has teamed up with Microsoft to offer eager gamers the chance to play Gears of War Judgment before anybody else.
Between February 3-25, customers will be given the opportunity to play Epic’s upcoming third-person shooter at 14 participating stores as part of the retailer’s “Lock In” campaign, where it promises “snacks and drinks, and the chance to chat with other gamers from your area.”
Places are said to be limited, however, and GAME warns that players need to register their interest early to claim their place.
“Just head to your nearest participating store – or send them a tweet – and ask to have your name put down on the list,” the retailer says. “Customers must be over 18 and will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. ID will be required for entry.”
This is the second time GAME has teamed up with a publisher to offer customers an early glimpse at an upcoming game.
Earlier this month, GAME announced that it had teamed up with EA to give gamers the chance to play Dead Space 3 early.
