Revealed at X019, theme park sim Planet Coaster will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2020.

Riffing off of Bullfrog’s Theme Park and cutting its teeth on its own Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, Frontier Developments announced its ambition to port the highly regarded game to new platforms. There are four modes to the construction and management sim, so there’s something to everyone’s taste. Those who want to create the eighth wonder of the world should dip into Sandbox Mode, which unlocks all research and provides unlimited coinage. Players who are willing to brave million-dollar questions would be right at home in Challenge Mode, which intersperses tasks that award the player a park rating boost or a sum of money when achieved.

Career Mode is its campaign mode, and there’s a Crash Mode that lets players build defective rollercoasters to collide spectacularly and squishily with the theme park’s guests. Planet Coaster on consoles will have “all of the depth, strategy and customisation found in the beloved PC game, allowing new players the chance to dream big and build bigger on their journey to simulation stardom while benefiting from the ongoing development since its original launch.” Tidy.

Planet Coaster is out now for PC and will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2020. Watch the announcement trailer below.
