Q-Games has announced that PixelJunk Shooter 2 is now in full production, with the development team throwing everything they have at the sequel.
“I can’t say much about it now, but it will have some features that are new to the PixelJunk series in general and will be bigger than the first game!” said Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert. “We’re busy implementing all the ideas that were left on the drawing board for the first game to make Shooter 2 as jam-packed full of crazy fun as possible.”
So jam-packed with features will PixelJunk Shooter 2 be that Cuthbert says we’re unlikely to see a third game in the series because everything is going into 2.
If you’re yet to give the first game a try, you’ll soon have no excuse. On May 25 a full level demo will be released on PSN.
