PixelJunk Shooter 2 will be released via the PlayStation Store on March 2, 2011, developer Q-Games has announced.
Studio president Dylan Cuthbert says the sequel is “packed even more full of lovely gushing liquid action.”
We’re promised three entirely new worlds and a new online versus mode in which players have access to over 20 weapons to use against their opponent. Expect to hear more from Q-Games very soon.
“Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks as we have some very interesting things to announce,” concluded Cuthbert.
PixelJunk Shooter was released towards the back end of 2009 to much critical acclaim, proving to be another successful entry in the PixelJunk franchise.
We’re hoping for bigger and better things from the sequel.
