Inspired by events and location from the upcoming motion picture, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, and last year’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, the video game will be released for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, PS3, PC and Nintendo DS.
The player will take control of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann as they adventure across the varied locations from the films. The games will feature gameplay designed to take advantage of each platform. Next-gen console versions will include innovative duelling controls and special moves, and the Wii game will use the Wii-mote to perform sword strokes.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End is scheduled for release on May 22 in North America, with May 25 looking most likely here in the UK.
