Oxygen Interactive has announced that their big game for 2005, Pilot Down: Behind Enemy Lines, is due for release on August 19th for PC, Xbox and PlayStation 2. The game has been developed by Kuju and tells the story of an American co-pilot who is shot down over occupied territory in 1944.

The game offers players a mixture of third-person combat and RPG-like elements where skill and stealth are essential to your survival. Jim Scott, Oxygen’s Chief Executive, has high hopes for the game:

A key title for the summer season, Pilot Down blends a mixture of stealth, action and adventure, creating an immersive gameplay experience. Coming from the same developers of the hugely successful “Prisoner of War”, it’s a title that we have enormous hopes for“.
