Phantasy Star Universe beta available on Marketplace

Beginning today, gamers will be able to play the latest instalment in the Phantasy Star series in a free-trial beta that is scheduled to run until October 18. The beta program is open to all Xbox Live Gold members.

SEGA has also announced that beginning on November 24, 2006, the Guardians license will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PC. This license enables players to take part in the online game, striking up alliances and embarking on a huge variety of online quests within Phantasy Star Universe. The license will cost £6.99 (â¬9.99) per month.

Phantasy Star Universe will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PC on November 24.
