The annual PES World Finals will take place at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium, Konami has announced.

The best PES 2012 players from Europe, the Americas and Japan will be gathered for the grand event on September 14. 38 competitors will head to the Bernabeu’s VIP area where The Palco de Honor area will be divided into two areas with one side lined with pods for the competition, and the other featuring a video wall that will keep players informed of their progress and other results.

A live stream of the event will also be broadcast on Konami’s OnAir service via www.pesworldfinals.com.

“The PES World Finals are the culmination of a year of solid PES 2012 activity, and a chance for the best players to gather and show their skills,” commented Martin Schneider, general manager for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “The Santiago Bernabeu is a ground that has played host to some of the world’s greatest players in its time, so it is fitting that this year’s event takes place within its hallowed walls.”

PES 2013 will be released September 21 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
