Konami has announced that PES 2019 will launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One this summer with a boatload of new features. FC Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho will grace the cover, though there's a special edition featuring David Beckham in the pipeline too.
This year's outing of The Beautiful Game will up the ante in terms of player individuality, with new skill traits allowing gamers to score Magic Moments on the pitch, something which is meant to be at the forefront of the action this time around.
From the sound of things PES 2019 will be a much more realistic affair, with Visible Fatigue now a thing. This new feature will directly impact the performance and behaviour of any given footie star, while shooting mechanics have also been spruced up, taking into account ball physics, position, and player skills and shot style.
Meanwhile, PES 2019 will be packing some major visual muscles thanks to the new Enlighten software, allowing for 4K resolution graphics, while the Global Illumination tech affords some snazzy lighting and shadow effects, plus improved crowd effects and the return of the snow weather effects.
Konami has also overhauled the myClub feature, with 'revolutionary changes' to the way you make your squad thanks to a new player card design system. With this, you can find High Performance Players, Legend Players, and Players of the Week, which offer a temporary stat buff based on real-world performance.
Finally, the publisher confirmed that PES 2019 will be continuing its partnership with the International Champions Cup (ICC), elements of which will be incorporated into the Master League.
PES 2019 will be kicking off on August 30.
