A playable demo of PES 2014 was released on PSN earlier today, VideoGamer.com can confirm.

We've downloaded the demo and it features Italy, Germany, Santos FC and Bayern Munich as playable teams.

The demo has now been removed from the store, meaning you're out of luck unless you also happened to grab the download while it was available.

Those that missed the demo will presumably now have to wait until the previously announced September 11 release for PS3, and September 12 on Xbox 360.

The demo promises to be fully representative of the final game, allowing users to play as several teams within a full match scenario. The demo will also include a tutorial element.

PES 2014 hits stores on September 20 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. PSP and PS2 versions will follow at a later date.
