Konami has today announced it is expanding its PES 2009 line-up with the autumn mobile phone release and a spring 2009 Wii release.
The Will version will build on the success of PES 2008 for Wii, expanding on the basic concept of players controlling both the player with the ball and those around them. PES 2009 promises to bring gamers closer to the game by introducing different control methods to cater for a wider range of play styles.
Some of the key additions will include an enhanced shooting system offering more control, reworked defensive elements (more control over defenders and more ways to close down defenders), and a new AI system promising more sophisticated and intuitive movement from team mates.
PES 2009 is scheduled for an Autumn 2008 release on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PC and PSP. The Wii edition will follow in spring 2009.
