Persona 5 Royal pre-orders on PlayStation Store Asia include English subtitles, which hints that the Western release tallies with the Traditional Chinese and Korean versions (via Persona Central).

The Traditional Chinese and Korean versions of Persona 5 Royal will come out on February 20, 2020, for the PlayStation 4. Pre-orders are now live on the PlayStation Store Asia and these games include Chinese and English subtitles. Typically, games sold on PlayStation Store Asia with English, Chinese, Korean, and/or Japanese localisations have subtitles that correspond to that language. Persona Central believes this to be a hint that the English version of Persona 5 Royal will release on February 20, 2020.

Persona 5 Royal has recently been registered under the Australian Classification Board, which is one more piece of evidence pointing toward this release window. What’s more, Media Molecule’s Dreams was rated last week, and that is speculated to come out of early access in February, too. Atlus also announced the Western and Asian localisations at the same time; once again this suggests that the games will hit the shelves simultaneously.

However, this is guesswork. Neither developer nor publisher have given an official launch date for the Western region, but it seems like there’s a helping of hints for February 20, 2020. We’ll keep you in the loop once we know more.
