Bully 2 remains one of the most requested games under the Rockstar umbrella, although as far as we know, nothing is in the pipeline. Or is it?
People are getting a bit excited this morning, as a casting call made by Jessica Jefferies (via Rockstar Intel) has indicated that maybe, possibly, Rockstar is in fact working on a follow-up to its thuggish open-world actioner.
The call is for seven individuals and pertains to a 'new unannounced video game title with a leading UK games developer, shooting at Pinewood Studios.'
Rockstar definitely fits the bill as a leading UK developer, wouldn't you say?
Also of interest is the fact the casting calls relate to teenage and young roles, and notes that 'mild violence and profanity will be used in scenes with the young performer. The project itself is a thriller/drama and all scenes with the young performer will be handled with sensitivity.'
In addition, some of the calls also mention 'College Professors'; could James 'Jimmy' Hopkins be off to university to channel his inner Phil Mitchell? Rockstar staff have also 'come into engagement' with these details, says the report.
It sounds like it could be Bully 2. Still, don't get too excited yet; absolutely nothing official has been confirmed by Rockstar, so take this with a huge pinch of salt for the time being.
