Peggle 2 will miss the launch of Xbox One on November 22, PopCap has confirmed, instead making its way to Xbox Live a few weeks later in December.
The game had been expected to launch on day one. No reason for the date shift was given.
“Peggle 2 is a ‘launch timeframe’ title,” PopCap senior director of PR Garth Chouteau told GamesBeat. “But [it] will not launch day-and-date with the Xbox One – instead, it will become available a few weeks later in December.”
Expect details on the game’s firm release date in the coming weeks.
