Realtime Worlds has released playing figures for its online action title APB: All Points Bulletin.
The developer states that the game currently has 130,000 registered players, each averaging four hours game time a day. Realtime also states that paying players (distinct from registered players) are averaging a spend of $28 per month, from a combination of purchased game time and user to user marketplace trading.
Joint administrator Paul Dounis, of business rescue and restructuring specialist Begbies Traynor commented: “These are healthy numbers and reflect positively on APB as a ongoing concern. They prove this is a very enjoyable game, which is shown by the average player daily playtime and an ARPPU (Average Revenue per Paying User) that is highest of any game out there.”
Realtime Worlds went into administration last week following poor sales of APB, and the studio is now up for sale.
