A new Payday 2 character pack introducing the game’s first playable female character is due to release later today, Starbreeze has announced.
Available on Steam for $4.99, the new pack introduces new female gang member Clover along with a brand new Queen’s Wrath Assault Rifle, Shillelagh melee weapon and perk deck focused on breaking and entering.
According to Starbreeze CEO Bo Andersson Klint, Clover adds “the finesse needed to perform the perfect crime”.
Alongside the new character, a further DLC pack introducing a new Diamond Heist will also be available to download that sees players breaking into a museum to steal the world’s most famous diamond. Four new masks, materials and patterns are thrown in, too, as well as the option to pre-plan the heist.
The Diamond Heist DLC will be available separately for $6.99. UK prices for both packs have yet to be confirmed.
