Payday 2 has sold 1.58 million copies, Starbreeze has announced to investors, with 80 per cent of sales coming from digital channels.
The studio says that the figure represents a great success for the game.
The game’s success seemed guaranteed back in August when Starbreeze announced it had already made a profit on pre-orders alone.
