Payback is a remake of the GBA game released back in 2004 and is described as “a stunning 3D crime action adventure game” in which you get to “steal cars, take on the Mafia, escape prisons or just go on a bloody rampage.“
The game is viewed from a top-down perspective, and features 11 cities and 50 missions, complete with updated 3D graphics, special effects and audio.
Payback is most easily compared to the GTA series, but GP32/2x Distribution’s MD Craig Rothwell has been claiming the game is so much more.
“This game is a must have for every GP2X owner. Payback isn’t just another GTA; the player must use his imagination to navigate the shifting tides of allegiance and the fully open environments to achieve a variety of goals,” said Rothwell.
