Paxton Fettel will be a playable character in the single-player FEAR 3 campaign, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced.
Fettel will be selectable to play through each single-player level after first completing the stage as Point Man.
Fettel offers a unique single-player experience focused on his supernatural abilities giving players a new way to play through previously completed levels. He will wield his telekinetic abilities to suspend, possess, stun or crush enemies.
FEAR 3 is scheduled for release in May for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
FEAR’s always been a very competent shooter, so replacing the gunplay with telekinetic powers should provide a very different experience. Whether or not it’s a good experience remains to be seen.
