It’s been rumoured over the last few days that the PaRappa The Rapper and Gitaroo Man creators would be coming together, and it’s now been confirmed in Project Rap Rabbit.
While very little is known about it at this early stage, a teaser trailer has been released, as well as a tweet confirming the duet.

The video below gives us very little to go on other than the fact there’s a rabbit involved (the clue is in the name), there’s a few frogs floating around, and it looks to be taking place in a Japanese setting.
NanaOn-Sha’s Masaya Matsuura and iNiS’ Keiichi Yano were instrumental in bringing cult hits PaRappa and Gitaroo Man to the forefront of rhythm-based games, respectively. With their collective pedigree, it’s really intriguing to see what they can do together with much more powerful hardware.
