In development MOBA Paragon will enter Early Access on March 18 to those who pick up Founder’s Packs, Epic Games has announced.

Founder’s Packs will go on sale from March 14, with prices starting at €19.99.

By buying a Founder’s Pack you’ll not only be able to get early access to the game, but also be involved in helping shape the game going forward. In addition, any progress made from March 18 onwards will not be wiped later down the line, giving players a real incentive to get started early.

Founder’s Packs €19.99: Include access to the game, skins, boosts, and other cosmetic items you can unlock by playing.

Challenger Packs (€59.99) and Master Packs (€99.99): Will include a huge number of skins, unlockable items, boosts, a unique skin and a Founder’s Pack to give to a friend.

If you’d rather not pay for access you can wait for the free open beta this summer.

Furthermore creative director Steve Superville has said that Paragon’s Heroes will always be free.

“Paragon is designed so that all players can compete and win without ever having to spend money. All Heroes are free, and cards can only be earned by playing the game. The game will never be pay-to-win, meaning we will never sell gameplay-affecting items,” he explained.

“We will sell cosmetic items (skins, emotes), boosts, and other convenience items, along with Paid Early Access, in order to make money. We’re taking this approach because we believe that competitive games need to be fair for all players.”
