Posting on the official Pandemic Studios forums, community manager Mathew Everett has responded to recent rumours which claimed development of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 had moved to the Mercenaries 2 and Lord of the Rings: Conquest developer. The game had previously been in development at Free Radical, now Crytek UK.
“As of right now I can say Battlefront 3 is not currently at Pandemic,” stated Everett. “While I know the title seems to be up in the air from all the buzz around the web… Lucas Arts will be the only one knowing where the title is at right now.”
Either the game is taking a very long time to make its way to Pandemic or LucasArts has another developer working on the Star Wars sequel.
