Pac-Man World Rally will see 15 classic characters from Pac-Man and other Namco franchises racing for the chequered flag over a number of iconic locations. The game features “sophisticated power sliding mechanics” that will allow players to maintain speed whilst skidding around tight corners. Players will also be able to charge up Boost Bottles which can then be used to give your vehicle a much needed injection of speed.

Pac-Man is good at one thing and that is eating, so it wouldn’t be a Pac-Man game if eating stuff wasn’t involved somehow. In Pac-Man world Rally you’ll be able to collect Power Pellets during a race and use them to unleash the ability to take a bite out of your opposition. This will slow them down, giving you the opportunity you need to move ahead in the race.

‘Pac-Man World Rally’ delivers the most complete kart racing experience yet with incredible speed across outrageous and vibrant courses from well known Namco games,” said Jeff Lujan, business director at Namco Hometek Inc. “The refined power sliding mechanics allows for tremendous handling in any situation, while a roster of more than 15 classic characters ensures that every race is memorable for players of all ages.”

The game will also include a number of multiplayer modes to enjoy with your mates, including Time Trial, Grand Prix and Battle Modes. Pac-Man World Rally is expected in the summer of 2006 on PlayStation 2, Xbox, PSP, PC and GameCube.
