Overkill’s The Walking Dead has been delayed until 2018, Starbreeze has announced.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead was first announced in 2014, with a trailer that everyone thought looked alright.

In 2016 Starbreeze announced the game was being delayed until 2017. Now we’ve reached 2017, and it turns out the game is now being ‘postponed until the second half of 2018’. According to Starbreeze this is being done to make sure the game reaches its full potential.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead is going to be a co-op shooter with new characters and storylines, but that’s about all we know right now. According to Starbreeze’s statement, there will be an insight into the development process in Starbreeze’s Twitch streaming event Star Stream.
