Carnival of Chaos is the next DLC addition to the zany apocalyptic cooking game Overcooked 2, and it looks bananas.
Carnival cuisine is scrumptious, and from the trailer it seems that hot dogs and doughnuts are the two new recipes. There’s a cannon that can fire players across the consciously convoluted maze of countertops, which will be fantastic for those high stakes finishers. A cooking game set at a circus does beg the question: are fire-eaters a hazard or a shortcut in the kitchen?
If you’ve not played Overcooked 2, then this is an awesome time to get stuck in. The Season Pass will afford you all three DLCs — Carnival of Chaos, Night of the Hangry Horde and Campfire Cook Off — for £14.99. We think the second helping of Overcooked was well-seasoned, with classic mechanics and spicy spontaneity in structurally unsound kitchens.
