The original 1993 version of Syndicate will be available from Good Old Games as of tomorrow, priced at $5.99 – that’s roughly 3.89 of your good old patriotic Great British Pounds [/UKIP].

If you’re interested in the Starbreeze game, due at the end of next month, it’s well worth your while revisiting the original. It’s a bleak and brilliant take on real-time strategy, one that includes the option to brainwash members of the public.

GOG is also running a competition at the moment in which you can win a free copy of the game. All you have to do is list your fantasy quartet of subservient killer cyborgs.

Well worth a punt, if you’ve got five minutes to spare.
