Capcom has announced that a remastered version of Onimusha: Warlords is coming to PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One in early 2019.

The spruced up version of the PlayStation 2 samurai-'em-up will feature high-definition visuals, widescreen display, analog stick support, new soundtrack, and other bits and bobs.

Onimusha: Warlords will be available to buy digitally for $19.99, while in the US a physical version will also be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Originally released in 2001, Onimusha was directed by Resident Evil 5's Jun Takeuchi and sold over two million copies worldwide. The game was originally conceived for the PlayStation, though was scrapped at about 50% complete before it was moved to PS2.

Onimusha: Warlords is due for release on January 15, 2019.

So, Onimusha: good move, Capcom. Now, how about that Dino Crisis revival, eh?
