It looks like Okami HD is coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC. According to a listing from the Korean ratings board (via Kotaku UK), the visually splendid adventure game will see a release later this year.

The Hideki Kamiya designed title received high praise on its original release back in 2006 on the PlayStation 2. Sadly, the title did not make waves in sales as it came out towards the end of that console’s life. Critically the title was much loved, with specific praise going towards its use of a Japanese watercolour art style, inspired by the Ukiyo-e genre of Japanese art from the Edo period in the 17th and 18th century.

Okami was ported to the Nintendo Wii in 2008, before receiving a visual enhancement with an HD release on PS3 in 2012. Like the PS3 version before it, Okami HD has been listed as an HD version, but it’d be nice to see it running in native 4K with HDR, if at all possible.
