A trademark for Cyberpunk 2077 has been filed in Europe by developer CD Projekt RED, fuelling yet more hope that the epic sci-fi RPG will be shown off at E3 next week.

Cyberpunk 2077 hasn't really done much at all since its announcement back in 2012. In fact, the game's official Twitter account wasn't even updated in almost five years until January. Even so, all we got was a *beep*. Literally.

Rumours have been steadily gathering pace in the past few months that the game will show up at E3.

Not long after the Twitter account did its whole beeping thing, two sources close to GRY Online claimed that there would be a behind-closed-doors demo of Cyberpunk 2077 at the Los Angeles-based event, as well as a new trailer.

More recently in April, CD Projekt RED said that it would be showing an RPG at E3, and since we know it's not working on The Witcher 4, there's not really much else it could be other than Cyberpunk.

Fingers crossed, eh?
