Killzone Mercenary’s offline multiplayer mode, Botzone Soldier Training Pack, will be released tomorrow priced €2.49, Sony and Guerrilla Cambridge have announced.

With the Botzone Soldier Training Pack, all multiplayer maps can be played offline in Mercenary or Guerrilla Warfare modes against up to seven other AI soldiers.

The bots promise to be pretty intelligent, making use of skills including vanguard usage, zip line navigation, interrogations, rescues, capsule hacking and valour card collection. Players will also be able to obtain multiplayer trophies using the offline mode.

To accompany the add-on, a 23MB mandatory title update will also roll out fixing “some longer standing collision issues reported in the multi-player maps”.

If you’re still to give Killzone on Vita a try, the game is currently included in the Easter sale priced £14.99, with a further 10 per cent discount for PS Plus members.
