Great news for UK fighting game fans, peripheral maker Mad Catz has announced that it is bringing its gorgeous Street Fighter 4 fighting sticks and fight pads to Europe.
Mad Catz range includes an Official Street Fighter 4 Arcade FightStick for both the Xbox 360 and PS3, which comes with a lovely-looking SF4 paint job and dual-speed turbo functionality for each button, and an Official Street Fighter 4 FightPad for the Xbox 360 and PS3, which will no doubt put the d-pad on both the Sixaxis and 360 pad to shame.
Best of all though, is the Official Street Fighter 4 Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition for the 360 and PS3, which is designed for the serious Street Fighter enthusiast. Development of the stick has been overseen by Capcom and legendary producer Yoshinori Ono, no less, and uses arcade quality components. It’s got the same Japanese style ball-handled joystick and 30mm action buttons found in the gorgeous Street Fighter IV Vewlix arcade cabs. I’ll be having that.
The Mad Catz range of licensed Street Fighter 4 accessories is expected to be available across North America and key European territories from February 2009. Street Fighter 4 will be out in Europe on February 20 on the 360 and the PS3, with a PC version to follow.
