THQ is looking to expand on the success of its MX vs. ATV series with the release of two new games in 2006. MX vs. ATV Unleashed: On the Edge is heading to the PSP and MX vs. ATV Unleashed has been announced for the PC. The PC version will feature a track editor, allowing gamers to create their very own off-road experience. Both versions will include multiplayer modes of some description: The PSP gets four-player local wireless play, and the PC version will feature a fully online multiplayer mode for up to eight players.

Both titles will possess the unmatched game-play elements that define a Rainbow Studios title and provide exciting new content at the same time,” said Scott Novis, President, Rainbow Studios.

THQ is promising new vehicles, tracks, challenges and mini-games for both versions, which are currently scheduled for release in 2006.
