Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, the HD remake of the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in spring 2014, Just Add Water has announced.
Release dates for the PC and Wii U versions have yet to be confirmed, however, and while an Xbox 360/Xbox One version is not thought to be in development, the developer is currently “in talks” with Microsoft to bring the game to Xbox platforms, too.
“Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a nostalgialiscious remake of our first Oddworld game, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, built from the ground up for PlayStation platforms, with brand new next-gen technology,” said JAW CEO Stewart Gilray on PlayStation Blog.
“Over the last 12 months since we last showed New ‘n’ Tasty, we’ve been hard at work bringing the game to life, and we’re delighted to announce that we’ll be releasing in spring 2014 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.”
