A NeoGAF forum poster going by the name ‘snatches’ broke the news yesterday, claiming that a release list he had been sent from Bethesda listed Oblivion for a November release on PlayStation 3 and PSP. Bethesda has dismissed the news, stating “At present we have no announced plans to bring Oblivion to any platforms other than PC or Xbox 360.“
Snatches has since confirmed on the forum that the “news is very legit, and could not come from a better source,” and should the news turn out to be incorrect “it’s because some sales idiot at Bethesda sent out incorrect info.“
At the moment the story appears to be up in the air, but if the information is true then it seems likely that it will be officially announced at E3.
