Non-combat based PvP is being considered for Star Wars: The Old Republic, according to a Community Q&A on the official website.

In response to whether the MMO will include non-combat PvP such as Pazaak or Swoop Racing, principle lead PvP designer Gabe Amatangelo explained:

“We are considering, testing and/or developing several things like that. We’ll let you know as soon as we are sure about what we’re going to add.”

Details of PvP in Star Wars: The Old Republic were released earlier in the month, when BioWare stated the game will feature neutral planets and territory control gameplay for users to fight over.
