Nokia have revealed that they will continue to support the N-Gage until at least the end of 2006. The company will also be releasing some new add-ons for the device, such as attachments to carry extra game cards, and they have plans for a limited edition silver model.

Of more interest to most people will be the news that Nokia plan to enable their high-end smartphones to play games on memory cards, just like the N-Gage. Gaming-enabled smartphones aren’t expected until the first half of 2006, but should make gaming on mobiles a more rich experience.
