There’s still no word from Capcom on a UK release date for Mega Man 9.

The game already has confirmed US release dates – September 22 for the Wii (1000 points), September 25 for PSN ($9.99), and October 1 for XBLA (800 points).

The latest we’d heard was that the action platformer would be available in the UK at the end of September, but Capcom was unable to confirm this when we contacted the UK arm this morning.

UK pricing has been confirmed, however. The Wii version will be 1000 Wii points, the XBLA version 800 MS Points and the PSN version £6.99.

Mega Man 9 is the latest in the popular rock hard Capcom classic series that started way back on the NES. While it’s a completely new Mega Man game, it has been deliberately designed by Keiji Inafune, the original character designer of Mega Man, to look like a 2D 8-bit game.

As soon as we’ve heard from Capcom we’ll let you know.
