Newly announced motion picture spin-off Alien: Isolation will not be released on Wii U, developer Creative Assembly has confirmed.
The Wii U wasn’t mentioned as a supported platform in any press materials, and now the studio has made the situation even clearer.
“Right now, we don’t have plans to put the game on Wii U,” responded the game’s official Twitter account.

Alien: Isolation is confirmed for a late 2014 release on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. No reason has been given for not supporting Wii U, but we reckon sales might have something to do with it.
