There are 'absolutely no plans' to bring PlayStation 4's Castlevania: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood to other formats, Konami has told GameSpot.

The publisher also revealed a few new details on the compilation. Players can opt to experience the vampire-hunting classics in blackout mode, which lets you play them without wallpapers. There's also a pixel smoothing feature on offer, although you can still plump for the original retro look if you fancy it.

One feature that might seem controversial with fans is the fact Symphony of the Night is based on the PlayStation Portable version. This means that the voice acting and dialogue has been reworked, so you won't get the classic 'What is a man?' exchange among other hammy lines.

Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood is due for release on October 26.
