Microsoft mouthpiece Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb has confirmed that the company will not be dishing out any more titles for Xbox One's backwards compatibility lineup until 2019.
Speaking on Twitter, Hryb confirmed the news amidst a series of impressive stats for backwards compatibility, revealing over 100 new titles joined the service just this year. In total, over 550 games are now playable via b/c, 57 of which are enhanced with Xbox One X support. That's not too shabby, eh?
This week's offering included three games, among which featured the notoriously rubbish Duke Nukem Forever. Still, it's not all bad; The Darkness was also included, which is a cracking game.
In 2018, Team Xbox added over 100 new titles to Backward Compatibility, bringing the full catalog to over 550 games – 57 of which are Xbox One X Enhanced. We’re taking a break for the holidays, but stay tuned for more BC news in January. Until then, we’ll see you on Xbox Live! pic.twitter.com/rp4G5iILYt
