Grasshopper Manufacture has announced, by way of a teaser trailer, that No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, a sequel to the Wii action title, is on the way. The first title was released as a Wii exclusive and was published by Rising Star in Europe.

The trailer suggests that the sequel will star Travis Touchdown, the hero from the first game, and the same graphical style is in place. In the sequel Travis is on a quest for revenge and is going to “take fighting seriously”

It’s also been confirmed that the famed video game designer Goichi Suda (Suda 51) is one again writing the script, and speaking during a Tokyo Game Show conference he said the sequel is being made to reward the game’s strong fan base in Europe and the US.

No release platform has been announced, but given the sequel looks very similar to the first game it’s assumed it’ll be heading to Wii.
